Submission Preparation Checklist
Before proceeding with your submission to Pharmacosmic: Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, please carefully read and confirm that your manuscript meets all the requirements outlined below. By continuing with your submission, you acknowledge that you have verified compliance with these essential criteria.
Manuscript Requirements and Originality: Your manuscript must fall within the scope of pharmaceutical sciences as defined by our journal, represent original work that has not been published elsewhere, and not be currently under review at another publication. All sources must be properly cited using Vancouver referencing style, and the manuscript should be checked for plagiarism and similarity issues. The work must be written in clear, professional English with word count within the specified limits for your chosen article type. Your abstract should be structured with Background, Objective, Methods, Results, and Conclusion sections (250-300 words), accompanied by 3-6 keywords using MeSH terminology where possible.
File Submission and Format Requirements: You must upload your main manuscript file in Word format, anonymized for peer review, along with a separate title page containing complete author information. All figures must be high-resolution (minimum 300 DPI) and properly labeled, while tables should be editable and correctly formatted with self-explanatory captions. Supporting documents including Conflict of Interest statements for all authors, Author Contribution statements, ethics approval documentation (if applicable), informed consent confirmation (where required), and copyright permissions for any reproduced material must be provided.
Author Information and Declarations: All listed authors must meet established authorship criteria and have approved the final manuscript version. Complete contact information for the corresponding author is required, along with ORCID identifiers for all authors (strongly recommended). Author affiliations must be accurate and complete, with the author sequence reflecting actual contributions to the work. All potential conflicts of interest must be declared, funding sources and grant numbers acknowledged, and permissions obtained from all persons mentioned in acknowledgments.
Research Ethics and Compliance: For human subjects research, you must obtain Institutional Review Board or Ethics Committee approval, secure informed consent from all participants, maintain patient anonymity and confidentiality, and conduct research in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki. Animal research requires Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee approval, adherence to ARRIVE guidelines, consideration of animal welfare, and justification for animal model use. Raw data must be available upon reasonable request, data sharing statements must be included, statistical methods should be appropriate and clearly described, and all experimental procedures must be sufficiently detailed for replication.
Quality Standards and Presentation: Your research question must be clearly stated and scientifically significant, with methodology appropriate for addressing the research objectives. Sample sizes should be adequate and justified where applicable, results presented clearly with appropriate statistical analysis, and conclusions supported by the presented data. Study limitations must be acknowledged and discussed. The manuscript should be well-organized following a logical structure, written in clear and concise language free from grammatical errors, with figures and tables that enhance understanding without duplication. All abbreviations must be defined upon first use, and SI units should be used throughout.
Legal and Copyright Considerations: You must confirm that all authors hold copyright to the submitted work and agree to publication under the CC BY 4.0 Creative Commons license. Permission must be obtained for any previously published material including figures, tables, or text, ensuring no copyright infringement issues exist. You must understand that accepted articles will be published under Diamond Open Access conditions, agree to the journal's peer review process and editorial decisions, confirm the accuracy of all provided information, and authorize Pharmacosmic to publish the work if accepted.
Communication and Author Responsibilities: The corresponding author's email must be active and regularly monitored, and you must agree to receive editorial communications and peer review feedback. Prompt responses to editor and reviewer requests are expected, and you must notify the journal of any changes to contact information. By proceeding with your submission, you confirm compliance with all requirements, acknowledge authorization to submit on behalf of all co-authors, and understand that incomplete submissions may be returned without review.

Unless otherwise stated, by submitting a manuscript and completing the registration form, authors are considered to have agreed to the privacy statement and legal terms applicable to this journal.
The author hereby declares that they are the original creator of the submitted work. Therefore, the editorial team is not responsible for any legal obligations or actions that may arise from violations of third-party rights, including intellectual property rights, trade secrets, or other legal claims.

1. Data Collection and Consent
In compliance with Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (UU PDP) in Indonesia, we inform users that personal data requested in our forms or provided via our email addresses, based on explicit and unequivocal consent, will be stored in a database managed by Interaction. By filling out any form containing personal data and submitting it or by sending us an email with personal data, the user explicitly authorizes Interaction to process and store such data for administrative purposes, service improvements, and other specified uses. Users have the right to withdraw their consent at any time, but such withdrawal will not have a retroactive effect.
All collected data will be processed confidentially and in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations in Indonesia.
Interaction is not responsible for the processing of personal data on third-party websites accessed via links provided on this website.
This website is regulated under Indonesian law, and all users, whether domestic or international, are subject to its regulations.
2. Data Usage
The collected data is relevant, appropriate, and necessary for the intended purposes, such as sending updates via email or recognizing returning users. The data will not be used for any purpose other than what has been explicitly approved, and it will not be shared with third parties without consent.
Unless otherwise stated, all fields in the forms must be completed. Users must provide true, accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. Users are solely responsible for any harm or consequences resulting from providing false, inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or third-party information.
This website collects personal data through forms or emails to manage journal subscriptions and participation as authors, editors, or reviewers, based on explicit consent.
Interaction reserves the right to decide whether to include users' data in its database.
3. Users' Rights to Access, Rectify, and Delete Personal Data
As part of our commitment to industry standards for data privacy, Interaction grants users the right to:

If users do not explicitly request the deletion of their data, we assume they wish to remain in our database as long as the data remains relevant to its intended purpose and as long as deemed necessary by Interaction.
4. Security
Data Protection Policy
As part of our commitment to protecting users' personal data, Interaction has implemented the necessary technical and organizational measures to ensure data security and confidentiality. We ensure that the management of personal data complies with Indonesian regulations, including Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (UU PDP), as well as other relevant data protection standards.
The personal data collected will only be used for legitimate purposes, in accordance with user consent, and will not be misused or shared with third parties without permission. We are also committed to maintaining transparency in data processing and providing users with the right to access, correct, or delete their personal data as stipulated by applicable regulations.

6. Mailings
In compliance with Article 21 of the Law on Electronic Information and Transactions (UU ITE), which prohibits commercial mailings unless they have been expressly authorized by the recipients in advance, we inform you that by accepting the terms of use and data protection policy, you explicitly authorize the sending of informational, commercial, advertising, and promotional emails to the provided address.
However, if you do not wish to receive our promotional emails, you can request cancellation by following the instructions included in each mailing.
7. Modifications of this Data Protection Policy
This data protection policy was first established on January 14, 2025. Interaction reserves the right to modify this policy in the future in accordance with internal policies, changes in legislation, jurisprudence, or prevailing business practices.
If any modifications are made, the latest version will be published on this page to ensure that users remain informed about the data protection policy. In any case, the relationship with users will be governed by the regulations in force at the time they access the website. Therefore, users are advised to review this policy whenever they provide their data through our website.
