Abstract
Research has been conducted with the title FormulationGel Peel Of MaskJamblang Leaves(Syzigium Cumini Druce) With a Combination of Arabica Coffee(Coffea Arabica L) to find out whether jamblang leaf extract can be formulated asgel peel maskThe aim of this study was to determine the formulation of gel mask preparations.peel-offmade from jamblang leaves(Syzygium cumini Druce)and Arabica coffee grounds. The gel mask formulation was made with a 10% polyvinyl alcohol base. The active ingredients used were jamblang leaves and Arabica coffee grounds, which contain flavonoids and several other substances that can be beneficial for health and beauty. This study used a qualitative method. The gel mask formulationpeel off made with a PVA base with a concentration of 10%. The tests carried out included organoleptic tests, homogeneity, spreadability, pH and drying time tests. The results of the organoleptic test observations were brown in color with a distinctive odor and gel-like shape, homogeneity tests from day 1/10 all formulas were homogenous, pH tests from day 1/10 all formulas were good because they were still in the range of 4.5-6.5, namely 5 and 6, drying preparation tests from day 1/10 had good drying power because they were still within the drying time requirements, namely 15-30 minutes, and spreadability tests from day 1/10 all formulas met the requirements. From the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that jamblang leaves(Syzygium cumini D)and Arabica coffee grounds can be formulated into a gel mask preparationpeel-off
