Description Of Drug Use And Completeness Of Antihypertension Prescription In Outpatients At Lau Public Health Center, Maros District

Abstract
Completeness of prescription is a very important aspect as a first step to prevent errors in prescribing. According to the Maros Regency Health Profile, the disease pattern that occurred in Maros Regency in 2014 was Essential (Primary) Hypertension with 11,428 cases (2.6%) and in 2013 hypertension also had the highest number of cases with 8,239 (5.3%). The purpose of this study was to determine the completeness of antihypertensive prescriptions and antihypertensive drugs that were frequently prescribed to outpatients at the Lau Community Health Center. The method in this study was descriptive using an observational method by collecting data retrospectively from all hypertension prescriptions at the Lau Community Health Center, Maros Regency, for the period January-June 2022 that met the inclusion criteria. The total number of antihypertensive prescriptions obtained was 538 prescriptions, from 230 samples of completeness of prescriptions obtained from the Inscriptio section 47%, Invocatio 100%, Prescriptio 66.67%, Signatura 100%, Subcriptio 88% and Pro 81.67%. The Antihypertensive groups prescribed to outpatients at Lau Health Center were 2 types of Antihypertensives, namely Amlodipine, Calcium Channel Blockers (CCB) 189 prescriptions (82%) and Captopril, Angiotensin Converting Enzyme Inhibitors (ACEI) 41 prescriptions (18%).
